FAIRFIELD — November 2, 2026. Fairfield’s 2026 household hazardous-waste schedule says the Republic Services collection program uses the first and third Saturdays during November and December, rather than its January–October schedule.
November dates
Under the published first-and-third Saturday pattern, the November 2026 collection dates fall on November 7 and November 21. Residents must make an appointment and show proof of Fairfield residency; the dates can be affected by holiday or operational changes.
Limits on what can be brought
The city lists no container larger than five gallons and a maximum quantity of fifteen gallons or 125 pounds per trip. Materials include paint, batteries, cleaners, pesticides, fluorescent bulbs and certain household chemicals.
Before visiting
Call the hazardous-waste hotline at 707-437-8971 to register and confirm the location and hours. Do not leave chemicals outside a locked facility or mix incompatible products together.
