FAIRFIELD — November 2, 2026. Fairfield’s electronics recycling program offers free drop-off of certain small devices and appliances at 2901 Industrial Court for eligible city residents.
When the center is listed as open
The city lists Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., with a midday closure from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and major holidays are closed.
What the program accepts
The city says small electronics and appliances may be dropped off, with a limit of five items per person each week. Residents must remove batteries and bring proof of local residence. Large televisions and equipment have additional acceptance restrictions.
What can incur a fee
Appliances with refrigerant can require a specific removal charge. Electronics should never be mixed into curbside garbage; confirm whether a large screen, printer or other item qualifies before transporting it.
